The US started a campaign to boycott Beijing’s winter Olympics in Beijing China last year in 2021 citing China’s human rights records, genocide, and use of forced labor but to many People’s surprise, few countries have supported the US boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The countries which supported the boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics are all US allies from the Angola-Saxon countries of the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK. It should be noted that all those countries boycotting Beijing’s Winter Olympics have disagreements with China like Lithuania which is in dispute with China over the opening of the Taiwan office in Vilnius the capital city of Lithuania and India boycotted the games at the last minute due to border disputes.
As the Beijing winter Olympics games were about to begin, the FBI said that athletes shouldn’t take their smartphones to the games in fear of spying and many US politicians had urged people to boycott watching the Beijing Winter Olympics games.
